My name is Kali Elaine and this is my health journey. My health journey started back in May 2013.
I was tipping the scale at almost 220lbs.Since 2013 I have lost 32 lbs! By eating better and moving more I am able to move forward in the right direction.
When I am not in the gym I am studying to soon be a Registered Nurse I graduate December 2015. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree major Public Health.
I also enjoy spending time with my boyfriend we are courting, to get married.

It was a difficult thing to hear, but instead of dwelling on it I made the decision to continue living the healthiest I could be and I continue to move forward in this decision each day by eating better and more activity. I may not be able to change PCOS but what I can do is to treat my body with the healing medicine it deserves which is praying, eating better, and more activity.

I created this blog to share with others my health journey. I display my workouts, what I eat, and I am working on a youtube channel to hopefully share more stuff I am learning on this journey.
I don’t get into all the diet fads, counting calories, or extreme limits. I am not a expert. I keep it very simple. Eat better by eating less processed foods and move more. “balance”.
My eating habits are not perfect and I will go for a chocolate cheesecake brownie every now and again, this is what I know….
A consistent balance lifestyle of choices can only help.
We are only human.
I hope to inspire others to take this journey in eating better and moving more. One of the best decision I have every made in my life.
